Can I bring in outside catering?

Yes, you can use any caterer you prefer as long as they are licensed and insured. If you decide to book, we have a list of preferred caterers that we can share with you.

How do your bar services work?

We have two options for the bar. We allow the client to provide their own alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and hire The Orchard bartenders to bartend. We find this service to be the most cost effective for our clients. 

We will also allow a caterer that offers a bar service to provide the bar as long as they have an off-site liquor license.

If I choose to bring my own alcoholic beverages to serve my guests can I hire an outside bartender?

We require that you use The Orchard bartenders as they are NYS Tips certified and covered under our insurance program. If you would like to hire a caterer that offers a bar package this is allowed. The caterer must provide The Orchard with a copy of their liquor license or catering liquor permit.​

What time must the reception end?

Weekend events at The Orchard have an end time of 10PM.

Where do rehersals take place?

For on-site ceremonies rehearsals will be conducted one to two days before the wedding dependent on other events scheduled.

Do I have to clean everything up the night of the wedding?

We require the caterers to clean up their items the night of. However, if there is not another wedding the day after yours, you are more than welcome to schedule a time the next day to pick up your belongings.

How many guests can the venue accommodate? 

Approximately 200 guests. Additional options can be discussed if you are hosting a higher guest count.

Can cars stay in the parking lot overnight?

Absolutely, safety is our top concern.
